Aussie Ready Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PLUS ONE POINT PTY LTD (ABN 53 164 382 656, "we") handles information in the smartphone app "Aussie Ready" (Android and iOS, "the app"). For our website ielts.jp, please see the website privacy policy (in Japanese).

1. About the app

The app is a study quiz we wrote ourselves, based on the booklet "Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond" published by the Australian Government. It is not affiliated with or acting on behalf of the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs.

2. Information we do not collect

The app is used without an account. We do not collect your name, email address or any other information that identifies you. The app does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

3. Information stored only on your device

Your practice and practice test results (questions you answered correctly, questions you missed and practice test results) and the language you choose are stored only on your device. They are not sent to our server. They are deleted when you delete the app, and they do not move to a new phone.

4. Server logs

The app loads its questions from our server (ielts.jp). As with any website, the server records the IP address, date and time, the URL requested, and the type of device and app. We use these records only to run the service and to deal with unauthorised access.

5. Advertising and analytics

The app does not show advertising and does not use an advertising ID. It does not include any third-party analytics service.

6. External pages

Buttons in the app, such as "Open the Home Affairs website", open external pages in your browser. Those pages are covered by their own privacy policies.

7. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell information obtained through the app or share it for advertising. Our server is operated by XServer Inc. (Japan) on our behalf.

8. Children

The app is intended for people considering permanent residency or citizenship in Australia. It is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features change. If there is a significant change, we will let you know on this page or in the app.
