IELTSライティングでスコア7.0以上を目指す場合、語彙力（Lexical Resource）の評価が重要になります。
今回は、スコアアップに直結する効果的な表現をご紹介します。
01スコア7.0以上に必要な表現力とは？
IELTSライティングでスコア7.0以上を目指す場合、単に文法的に正しい文章を書くだけでは不十分です。
採点基準の「Lexical Resource（語彙力）」では、以下の点が評価されます。
評価ポイント
- 語彙の幅と正確さ
- 適切なコロケーション（語と語の自然な組み合わせ）
- Less common vocabulary（あまり一般的でない語彙）の使用
- パラフレーズ（言い換え）の能力
つまり、同じ意味を様々な表現で言い換えられる能力が求められます。
02基本表現から洗練された表現へ
多くの受験者が使う基本的な表現を、より洗練された表現に変えることでスコアアップが期待できます。
1. 因果関係を示す表現
基本表現- because, so, therefore
- as a result of, consequently, owing to, due to the fact that
- on account of, for this reason, hence, thus
2. 対比を示す表現
基本表現- but, however, on the other hand
- nevertheless, nonetheless, conversely, in contrast
- whereas, while, although, despite the fact that
03具体例を示す効果的な表現
議論を具体化するための表現も、バリエーションを持つことが重要です。
例を挙げる表現
基本表現- for example, for instance
- to illustrate this point, a case in point is
- take ... as an example, ... serves as a prime example
- this is exemplified by, this can be seen in
同じ意味でも、表現を変えることで文章に変化が生まれ、語彙力の高さを示すことができます。

一般的な見解を述べる

05強調表現のバリエーション
重要性を強調する
基本表現- very important, very necessary
- crucial, vital, essential, indispensable
- of paramount importance, of great significance
- plays a pivotal role in, is fundamental to
程度を強調する
効果的な表現- considerably, substantially, significantly
- dramatically, markedly, notably
- to a large extent, to a considerable degree
06結論を導く表現
結論を述べる
基本表現- in conclusion, to conclude, finally
- to sum up, in summary, to summarize
- taking everything into account, all things considered
- in light of the above arguments, given the points discussed
結論部分では、議論全体を振り返る表現を使うと効果的です。
07まとめ：効果的な表現の使い方
スコアアップのポイント
- 同じ意味でも様々な表現を使い分ける
- 基本表現を洗練された表現に置き換える
- 文脈に応じて適切な表現を選ぶ
- 自然なコロケーションを使う
- 過度に難しい語彙は避け、正確さを優先する
重要なのは、ただ難しい単語を使うことではなく、適切な文脈で正確に使うことです。
これらの表現を練習して、自然に使えるようになることで、スコア7.0以上が見えてきます。
