I live in this apartment since 2020.since
○
I've lived in this apartment since 2020.2020年から今まで続いている
○
I've been living here for about six years now.
How long have you lived in your current home?
I live in Yokohama.
I live on Sakura Street.
in the city centre/in the centre of the city
in the suburbs/on the outskirts of the city
about a ten-minute walk from the station
on the second floor
階は on
a three-bedroom apartment、a five-storey building
Do you live in a house or a flat? と Do you live in a house or an apartment?
I live in a flat/an apartment/a detached house/a terraced house/a shared house
I live with my parents/I live on my own/I share a flat with two friends
期間:I've lived here for three years/since I started university
位置:It's about twenty minutes from the city centre by train
From my window I can see a small park and a few low buildings
What can you see when you look out the window of your room?

My hometown has changed.
It's been redeveloped./A lot of new housing has gone up./It's grown a lot in the last ten years.
There are many trees.
There's a lot of greenery./There are plenty of green spaces.
There isn't much going on.
△
My apartment is cramped.
○
My apartment is a bit cramped, but it's enough for one person.
It's an old wooden house, so it has a lot of character.
△
The roof leaks and the walls are cracked, so it has a lot of character.
Has your hometown changed a lot since you were a child?
Yes, it's changed quite a lot. They built a new shopping centre near the station about five years ago, and a lot of new housing has gone up since then.
Where I live, we're spoilt for choice.
○
There are dozens of small restaurants around the station, so we're really spoilt for choice.
What do you like most about your hometown?
△
What I like most is that it's a sleepy little town.
○
What I like most is how laid-back it is compared with Tokyo.
my house から housing へ、my town から urban areas へと抽象度が上がるところです。
The area near my old university has been completely redeveloped over the last decade. It looks much better now, but gentrification has pushed rents up so much that a lot of the original residents have had to move out.
What do you like most about the area where you live? です。
Q. What do you like most about the area where you live?
I like my area because it is convenient. There are many shops near my house and the station is close. It is also quiet.
What I like most is how well connected it is. Almost everything I need is within walking distance, and the station is about a five-minute walk away. At the same time it's fairly peaceful, so there isn't much traffic noise at night.
What I like most is how well connected it is. There are dozens of small restaurants and cafés around the station, so we're really spoilt for choice. It's also fairly peaceful once you get away from the main road, which is not something you'd expect this close to the centre.
a stone's throw、up-and-coming、spoilt for choice
How long have you lived here? に、I live here for three years.
I've lived here for three years. I've been living here for about six years now.
a ten-minute walk と a ten-minutes walk のどちらが正しいですか。
a ten-minute walk です。 a three-bedroom apartment、a five-storey building
affordable housing、a housing shortage、urbanisation Should governments do more to provide affordable housing?
