(We costed the project at two million dollars.)、買った値段を述べる文には出てきません。

量を述べるなら a lot of money、some money、how much money を使います。
✗
I don't have many moneys with me today.money
○
I don't have much money with me today.量を言うなら much/a lot of
○

I like shopping. Do you enjoy shopping? に答えるときは、行為のほうを受けて I enjoy it when ...
I enjoy it when I have time to look around properly, but I don't like being rushed.
Not really. I know what I want before I go in, so I'm usually out within ten minutes.
Do you enjoy shopping?
Is there a street market near where you live?
Not a permanent one, no. But there's a flea market in the park near my station on the first Sunday of every month.
We don't really have street markets, but there's a covered shopping street near my house. The shops are small and family-run, and you buy from the owner rather than from a chain.
In my hometown there's a morning market where local farmers sell fresh produce. It only runs until about nine, so you have to get up early.
The closest thing would be the food stalls at summer festivals. They're only there for a few days, but the atmosphere is similar.
What kinds of things are usually sold at street markets?
At markets like that you're expected to haggle a bit, but at most markets in Japan the prices are fixed.
I'm not very good at haggling, so I tend to pay whatever is on the label.

値段には段階があるので、a bit pricey、expensive、really expensive、cost an arm and a leg と使い分けると、描写がそのまま正確さになります。
△
The coffee at that place costs an arm and a leg, about 700 yen.

How do you think people decide whether something is worth the price?
People look at the price first, but what they're really judging is whether it offers value for money.
Buying a cheaper machine can end up costing more, because it needs replacing sooner.
I buy most things online.
E-commerce has changed how often people visit physical shops.
I sometimes buy things I don't need.
Online shopping makes impulse purchases much easier than before.
I try not to spend too much on clothes.
Fast fashion encourages people to replace clothes far more often than they need to.
I rarely carry cash.
Cashless payment has made spending less visible, which affects how people budget.
There's a small market near my station.
Local businesses struggle to compete with large chains and online retailers.
I saved up for it for six months.
Learning to save is part of the financial literacy that schools rarely teach.
I do, though I don't get many chances. We don't really have permanent street markets where I live, but there's a flea market in the park near my station once a month. I go when I remember. I like browsing rather than looking for anything in particular, and you can sometimes pick up a bargain if you get there early.
I do, although we don't really have permanent street markets in Japan. The closest thing near me is a flea market in the park, once a month. I go there to browse more than anything. It's mostly window shopping, to be honest, but I did pick up an old camera there last year for about 2,000 yen, which felt like a real bargain.
ここに splash out や cost an arm and a leg まで重ねると、2,000円のカメラの話が急に大きな話に聞こえます。
The price of this bag is quite high.
The vegetables there are cheaper than in the supermarket.
I spent 20,000 yen on a coat. と I paid 20,000 yen for the coat. The coat cost me 20,000 yen.
Not a permanent one, but there's a flea market in the park near my station once a month.
go shopping と do the shopping はどう違いますか。
I do the shopping every day.
haggle over the price At markets like that you're expected to haggle a bit, but at most markets in Japan the prices are fixed.
量を述べるときは much money、a lot of money、how much money を使います。
Part 3
value for money と consumer spending、financial literacy、fast fashion、second-hand goods のあたりから始めるとよいでしょう。 I buy most things online.
